I’m a professional fine artist who enjoys making just about anything!

I married to the love of my life, Roger, 4 months after we met in a bookstore. He planned the perfect wedding – on the top of Tybee Island Lighthouse, near Savannah, Georgia. We’ve been married 9 years now – having so much fun together!

We have a one and a half year old son, Edwin, whom we naturally think is handsome, brilliant and perfect except when he’s screaming. Then we’d like him to visit his Grandmom for a bit. We have one sortof crazy dog, Casper, who merely dislikes being cornered to give him medicine and talks (just a few words, but we’re hoping he expands his vocabulary with Edwin.) One really crazy dog, Lucky, who widdles if you look at him too hard. Or smile. Or offer him food. (Pound puppies, both.) To round off our family is the smallest, Lucy the Parrot.

I’ve never had a problem coming up with things to make, just the time to make them in. The world around us is so exciting, so much to paint. I really don’t understand artistic blocks, just limited time. Which is much worse now with motherhood. So many paintings to paint… so many projects… and they’re all in my head now wanting to get out…

If I don’t have a hobby, Roger probably does it. We’ve played with everything from a pottery wheel to model trains and plan to go back to all of them. And do. His current hobby is stained glass. And woodworking. And boatbuilding.

I’m currently gardening. And sewing. Pretty light hobbying for me.

I’m not exactly crafty. I just see things and get ideas. I like making things.
