About Jennifer Branch

Jennifer Branch weaves classic mysteries with the vibrant flair of her watercolor paintings, drawing inspiration from the Georgia coast, Maine’s shores, Italian villas, and exotic destinations around the world.

Her popular Ms. Mia Murder Mysteries series transports readers to luxurious, intrigue-filled resorts where an elegant amateur sleuth uncovers secrets behind polished façades. Beginning with Ms. Mia and Murder at the Grand Island Hotel, set amid Georgia’s enchanting Sea Islands, the series travels onward to a remote Maine retreat, a sun-drenched desert oasis, a tropical island escape, and the romantic Italian Veneto.

Ms. Mia Murder Mysteries blend traditional puzzle-solving, gentle humor, and richly drawn settings—ideal for readers who love classic whodunits set in unforgettable destinations.

As a landscape painter, Jennifer infuses her stories with vivid detail shaped by an artist’s eye. When she’s not crafting mysteries or painting, she explores with her husband, Roger, their sons, Edwin and Owen, and their adventurous dogs, Scout and Sam—always gathering inspiration for the next story.
