Sketching Venice, Green Door

Bright green doors reflect the deep greens of the Venice canal. Just imagine tying up your boat and walking through those doors into the lighted area beyond. What's in there? Is it an ordinary house? A restaurant? Maybe a stone courtyard filled with bright flowers? I think I'd rather imagine what it could be rather than know for sure...

The intricacy of the railings and stone work is perfect with pen and ink. I'm using Noodlers Black. It doesn't seem to bleed at all, which is perfect.
