Sanctuary Paintings Gallery

From before Roman times a sanctuary was a holy place, a place immune even from the law, where people went to worship or take shelter. I see sanctuaries now as those places of calm in the midst or turmoil. Places I take a deep breath, see the world for what it is and gain the strength and inspiration for life. I go from these places of sanctuary with joy in life. This is a very special series for me. Frankly, I have kept most of the paintings in my own collection because each painting brings me back to that moment of peace and joy. I hope to slowly add to my Sanctuary series my entire life.
